Happy Paws Pet Resort offers a Daycare Program which is entertaining, safe, and full of fun exercise. Our program will have a direct impact on your four legged family member by improving their quality of life in three areas; social behavior, reduced stress, and improved general health. Studies show that dogs that are socialized are healthier and live longer lives.

Our entire facility is used during daycare. Guests are socialized in our air conditioned indoor playrooms, and rotated in our four large fenced yards, which total an acre of play area. Guests are able to run, swim, and play, under constant supervision by our highly trained staff. The indoor playrooms have a specialized rubber flooring to prevent sore muscles, and tender joints. The outdoor play yards have synthetic grass which is free from pesticides, fleas, ticks and more, making it a safe environment for play. At the end of the day, your four legged child will be ready to come home to you for a relaxing evening...

Our “Bone Shaped” salt water based swimming pool has been designed so that even dogs that don’t actually swim can enjoy the refreshing water and still be in the company of their canine friends. Our shallow end is only 6” deep and our deep end is only 48”, just enough for the real swimmers. Life vests are available.

Playgroups are arranged by size and temperament. Our older guests can enjoy the company of those who are as wise in years as they are. All potential daycare clients must complete a guest profile, and pass a temperament test. Temperaments tests are done on selects days of the week and are four hours in length. Pet parents do not need to be present. Numbers of dogs to a play group is limited and staff monitors energy and activity level. We do not accept dogs which are aggressive and overtly dominant. We do work on behaviors and all dogs are given a report card at the end of the day. In addition you can always see how much fun they are having on the web cams. All daycare clients must be current on all shots including Rabies, DHLPP, bordetella, and a fecal. The bordetella and the Fecal must be within 6 months. In addition all daycare clients must be neutered or spayed, and be on a flea and tick prevention program. Puppies of 4 months or older will be accepted only until 7 months of age, in which they must be spayed or neutered to continue to attended daycare.

Reservations are required for Daycare. Please call at least one day ahead to reserve your four legged family members play dates with us. We require a 24 hour cancelation notice. All daycare dogs must be pickup by closing that business day. You will be charged $5 dollars for every ten minutes you are late for pick up. Please make every arrangement to be on time.
